In one of the most exciting games of the season so far, No. 16 Texas A&M pulled off a dramatic 41-40 upset over No. 8 Notre Dame on the road in a high-scoring shootout.
Wide receiver Mario Craver continued his electric start to the season, racking up 207 receiving yards in a dominant performance that solidified his case as one of the best receivers in the country. Quarterback Marcel Reed was impressive as well, throwing for 360 yards and two touchdowns, despite one interception. Running back Le’Veon Moss played a key role in the ground game, tallying three rushing touchdowns on 20 carries for 81 yards.
The game came down to the wire, with Texas A&M facing a 4th-and-11 in the red zone. Marcel Reed connected with backup tight end Nate Boerkircher for the game-winning touchdown, sealing a stunning 41-40 victory for the Aggies.
As I previously mentioned, this Texas A&M season is shaping up to be something special. Now 3-0, the Aggies will look to keep their momentum going when they face Auburn on Sep.27.
