SEATTLE, WA – September 27, 2025 — The #1 Ohio State Buckeyes remained unbeaten after a hard-fought 24-6 victory over the Washington Huskies on Saturday. While the game was expected to be a close battle, Ohio State’s defense stole the spotlight, and the offense did just enough to secure the win and move to 4-0 on the season.

Quarterback Julian Sayin continued to look poised under pressure, completing 22 of 28 passes for 208 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a scoring strike to superstar wideout Jeremiah Smith. The Buckeyes leaned on a conservative offensive game plan, relying heavily on the ground game to control the tempo.

Freshman running back Bo Jackson added a solid 80 rushing yards, continuing his consistent start to the season. However, the offensive MVP of the day was CJ Donaldson Jr., who powered into the end zone twice to give the Buckeyes the edge they needed.

Defensively, Ohio State dominated. The Buckeyes racked up 6 sacks and 9 tackles for loss, completely stifling Washington’s offensive rhythm and keeping them out of the end zone.

Now 4-0, Ohio State returns home to face Minnesota at The Shoe next week as Big Ten play continues.
