Wide receiver Barion Brown notched his first touchdown as an LSU Tiger on a 17-yard grab. He finished the game with 5 catches for 54 yards, showing flashes of the dynamic threat he can be in the offense.
Tight end Bauer Sharp, stepping up once again in place of the injured Trey’Dez Green, had another impressive outing. Sharp hauled in 5 receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown, continuing to build trust with the coaching staff and fans alike. He’s quickly becoming a name to watch for Tiger Nation.

Sophomore quarterback Michael Van Buren also saw action late in the game and made the most of his opportunity. He led a strong drive capped off with a rushing touchdown, then later connected with Kyle Parker for a passing score in the fourth quarter. Van Buren finished an efficient 10-of-12 for 122 passing yards, with two total touchdowns — one passing and one rushing — showcasing the potential to be the next exciting quarterback at Death Valley.
