TAMPA, FL – September 27, 2025 — The Tampa Bay Lightning secured another preseason victory, defeating the Nashville Predators 4-1 in a strong showing. The win showcased several key players, including Brandon Hagel, who had a two-point night (1 goal, 1 assist) and looks poised for a big season ahead.
Brandon Halverson continued to impress in goal, making 19 saves and allowing just 1 goal. Halverson’s performance has sparked speculation that he could earn some backup goalie duties in the regular season.
The Lightning’s offensive depth was on full display, with four players registering two-point efforts. In addition to Hagel’s contributions, Gage Goncalves added a goal and an assist (1G, 1A), Anthony Cirelli dished out two assists (2A), and Darren Raddysh scored a goal and an assist (1G, 1A).
This preseason win was especially notable as the Lightning faced off against what is expected to be the majority of Nashville’s regular starters, giving the team a great opportunity to assess their second-line offense. With the regular season approaching, Tampa Bay’s offense looks ready to hit the ground running.
