The Anaheim Ducks pulled off a stunning 7-6 overtime comeback win over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night in San Jose. Leo Carlsson scored just 46 seconds into overtime to seal the victory after Anaheim erased a two-goal deficit in the third period.
Cutter Gauthier and Chris Kreider each scored twice for the Ducks, while Beckett Sennecke and Alex Killorn also found the back of the net. Mason McTavish fueled the offense with three assists as Anaheim rallied from 2-0 and 6-4 down.
After the Sharks missed an empty-net chance late in regulation, Kreider tied the game with 49 seconds left to force overtime. Carlsson then buried the winner from the left circle to complete the dramatic comeback and give the Ducks a thrilling road win.
