The Dodgers fell to the Phillies in a tense extra-inning battle, despite a strong outing from Emmet Sheehan. The right-hander was dominant, holding the Phillies to just one hit over five innings while allowing one earned run and striking out seven.
Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth, the Dodgers tied the game on a clutch solo home run by Andy Pages. However, the momentum was short-lived.
In the top of the 10th, the Dodgers chose to intentionally walk Bryce Harper, bringing J.T. Realmuto to the plate. Although Realmuto was 0-for-4 on the night, he delivered with a sacrifice fly that gave the Phillies a 6-5 lead.
Veteran reliever David Robertson came on in the bottom half and shut the door, securing the win for Philadelphia.
