The Dodgers’ struggles continue as they dropped their fourth straight game, this time falling to the Orioles in a frustrating offensive showing. Shohei Ohtani pitched the first 3 innings, striking out 5 and allowing just 3 hits with no runs, but the offense once again came up empty.
Los Angeles managed only 5 hits on the night and left 8 runners on base, failing to capitalize on multiple opportunities. It was another lifeless performance from a lineup that continues to underperform during this skid.
The loss to Baltimore adds to what’s becoming a concerning stretch, as the Dodgers look for answers during a rough September slide.
